"Adler von Krautsand" - Sailing ship
A traditional ship
The staysail schooner "Ella" was built in 1935 for representative purposes. Later owners sailed with her several times around the world. After a name change to "Veleda" and back to "Ella", she now sails almost in her original condition. She is a particularly fine example of solid shipbuilding craftsmanship. In 2000, the current owner's company bought the yacht and began restoring her according to historic plans in the fishing port of Bremerhaven.
