The "Avontuur", built in 1920 by Timbercoast GmbH, brings together producers, retailers and consumers who think and act ecologically. With the sailing ship "Avontuur", organic goods reach the customer from afar in a climate-friendly way using only wind power. The gaff sailer is socially and ecologically sustainable for the protection of the environment and for future generations. While container ships are powered by heavy fuel oil, Timbercoast relies on cargo sails, the climate-friendly transportation of goods by wind.
