Die 5-köpfige kolumbianische Band SKAMPIDA gründete sich im Jahr 2000 in Bogota und steht kurz vor Ihrem 25-Jährigen Jubiläum. Sie präsentieren mit Ihrem Mestizo-Rock einen wilden Mix aus Cumbia, Ska, kolumbianischem Folk, HipHop und Rock Musik. Mit Ihrer energiegeladenen Live Show brachten sie es bereits zu zahlreichen Nominierungen in südamerikanischen Musikzeitschriften und Wettbewerben als beste Live Band und beste Ska Reggae Band Kolumbiens. Bei Ihren bisher über 1000 Auftritten in Lateinamerika, den USA, Kanada und Europa teilten sie die Bühne mit Acts wie: The Skatalites, Dead Kennedys, Manu Chao und vielen anderen.
